How to Microwave Bacon

Ordinarily I would not be encouraging anyone to cook their bacon in a microwave. The whole notion of it is really quite ridiculous. After all, you can cook bacon in less time time then it takes to boil a pot of water. But for some reason microwaving bacon has become quite common. Common enough to warrant the invention of trays and various other implements to facilitate the microwaving. Just go to your local as seen on tv store for a demonstration. Anyway to read my advice on the subject read my article – How to Microwave Bacon.

Roast Turkey

I roasted this turkey when I went up to my parents log home in Northern Minnesota. They live in a very remote part of Minnesota. Their nearest neighbor is about a mile away through the woods. I like to go there to relax and to get away from the Cities. This time I went up there for a whole week. It was fun to spend so much time in the place I grew up. I even managed to get some work done while I was there. This roast turkey was one of the articles I worked on. I think it turned out pretty well. To read all about it click here -> How to Roast a Whole Turkey.

Grill Bison Rib Steaks

These bison steaks were grilled in Northern MN at my parents home. Bison being one of my favorite meats I wanted to share it with my parents. I think Dad liked it a little more than Mom, she gets a little squeamish when it comes to new food. Except Pad Thai, she really likes that stuff. But I haven’t met a middle-aged white women who doesn’t. Anyway, if you like the look of this steak above click and learn How to Grill Bison Rib Steaks.

Grilled Brats

Bratwurst, as you are probably aware, come from the Germanic regions (past and present) of Europe. Like – Austria, Switzerland, Germany, parts of France…. Here, read the whole article for more information -> How to Grill Bratwurst

Get Rid of a Fever

The Saturday night fever joke was the best I could come up with. Jonathan had already used the “jungle fever” joke for the original version of this article. Other than the silliness of the header, I think the article reads pretty well. It wasn’t a super easy article for me. I spent a lot of hours at the library researching and writing only to be told by my editor that I had dropped the ball on the infant fever section. Apparently rectal thermometers can be bad for infants. She just had a baby, so she knew all about it. Thanks to Alicia the article How to Get Rid of a Fever is very good and I think that you should read it.
